      1099 MISC totally broken By Aphotog
      After spending five hours with their on-line support agent, we were still unable to get this feature to work. No one could provide a workaround, an estimate on when a fix might be available, nor any information on how to obtain a refund.

      They finally gave me a coupon code to apply towards their on-line version of the product. But the same bug appears there. Without being able to enter the 1099-MISC information, I cannot complete my taxes. Thus the product is completely useless to me, and I am now seeking to get my money back.

      Although I was a happy user in years past, this performance on the part of Intuit has ensured that I will never again buy this product.

      After reading the one star reviewer griping about installing the Amazon proprietary software, I was reluctant to download given that I am, by no means, a techy person....I'm glad I ignored the review. This was an easy, straight forward install and works perfectly. Yes, I had to click an Amazon logo for their install but it was not an issue and immediately began downloading Turbotax for me.

      This is the second year that I have purchased the Downloadable Turbo Tax and it has worked great both times. I was able to download the program easily, and I am VERY technologically challenged. I was able to pull last year's information through with no problems. The program did kick me out very quickly at first when I clicked off the software and tried to go to my bank's site to pull some tax information, but once I went back to Turbo Tax and saved the return I was working on I did not have that problem again. It worked great and I will definitely be purchasing this again next year.
