I've used TurboTax for years and am a very satisfied customer. Last year I ended my automatic product renewal with Intuit and saved money by ordering with Amazon. I downloaded the product onto my Windows XP based computer last year without a problem. I bought TurboTax Premier a week ago when pricetrace.com e-mailed me that the price dropped below $75. The download from Amazon was flawless. The product updates from Intuit also occurred without incident.Will not install By R. Schneider
I've been using TurboTax for two decades. Just purchased and downloaded 2010 Premier. It will not install. Generates an Error Code: 1326. Went to Intuit support. They are aware of the issue but have no solution.
No Amazon buyer protection or refund. The software download site is Amazon by name only. Kind of like the Android Market. Problem? Not our problem. Zero support.

Ive been a satisfied user of TurboTax for 8 years now and this year it does nothing but crash on startup. There is nothing worse than software companies taking your money and delivering a product thats not fit for use.
If you are a prospective buyer I would be inclined to hold off buying for now and monitor the reviews to see if it gets fixed. Not all PC configurations are the same and as such it may not crash on your configuration... there again.. thats what I thought after I discounted the reviews that I too had read. Doh ! The Best-Selling TurboTax Premier Federal + e-File + State 2010 [Download] [OLD VERSION] then to sell out very fast, if this is a must have product, be sure to order now to avoid disappointment.
